Newbie: Memory speed on my A7N8X-E

Hello,

Just a quick question about speeds etc, I've got a A7N8X-E Deluxe which I thought was set at the default FSB. The chip in a Atlon XP 2800 (333).

On the start up screen though, it says the memory speed is 166 Mhz (dual channel mode).

Does this mean, the memory is running at optimal speed (333?)?. Its fairly fast PC2700 memory I think.

166x2=333
That would be what ddr means.
