hardware recommendation wanted

im looking for recomendations for a new mb...but i have a few requirements.. and im falling short in finding a board ( thats actually available ) and affordable with what i want.

im looking for onboard lan, firewire, USB, and serial ata

both in an intel p4 and an amd xp based board.

no athlon 64's are wanted.

and at a reasonable cost.. i dont want to spend an arm & a leg for hardware.

board tops at 130 dollars US.

processor at 150 dollars us .

For the Athlon I'd go the EPoX 8RDA3+ and for the P4 I'd go the ASUS P4P800 Deluxe

does anyone here know if the EP-8RDA3+ will support AMD's Barton based processor? If so.. how high can i push it to? 3200+ maybe?

Yeah, that Epox board supports a 400fsb Barton. I would buy a 2500+ fora bout $80 and overclock to 3200+. The 2500+ overclocks to a 3200+ nicly, if you have some good quality memory.
