Here's my current computer setup:
Aopen AX4GE MAX (845 chipset)
Pentium 4 2.4B
512MB PC-2700 DDR
Do you guys think it would be worth it to upgrade to a new motherboard (looking at the 865 chipset) and get new memory? Or, should I buy a video card (like a 9800 Pro) and just let all the new stuff (PCI express, BTX mobo, 64 bit processors, etc) come out and put a new system together in a few years once this one is incredibly outdated? I mainly use my computer for surfing the net and playing games, but I want to be able to play the new games that will be coming out (HL2, etc.) for a while as well. Let me know what you guys think.
