    Hello,

    I have a problem with new-buy "KINGSTON KHX6400D2K 2GB 256M x 64-Bit x 2 pcs. PC2-6400 CL5 240-Pin DIMM Kit rating 1.85V". I am trying to use this single ram with “Kingston KVR800D2N5 1GBx2 128M x 64-Bit DDR2-800 CL5 240-Pin DIMM ram kit rating 1.8V".

When I used these ram together I got blue screen error. When I only used new-buy "KINGSTON 2GB 800MHz DDR2 Hyperx CL5 RAM", I could not get any display.

I got some pictures before blue screen. Interestingly, my new PC2 6400 hyperx ram seems PC2 5300.

    memery clock:
    old rams:
    new ram:

    My PC hardware/software:
    Gigabyte P35C-DS3R (rev 2.0) Bios version F4
    İntel E6750 @2.66Ghz
    ATİ HD 3850
    Windows 7 – 64 bit

Could you help to solve the problem?
    Thanks in advance...

Actually KHX and KVR are products for different positions. It should be easy to see the difference from the heatsink added and the way to use them is also different.

HyperX is considered as overclocking RAM, so you don't use together with normal RAM. But, you can use the HyperX by itself right? (since you can go in Windows, I assume it's working) But you need to o/c in BIOS to run at 800 for this memory, it's HyperX, it's overclock.
Your best bet is to swap for the same part# as your existing memory, it's the safest method to upgrade.
Just something extra for you to know, you'll encounter problems when using two memories with same SPD (e.g. 5) but in different frequencies (e.g. 667, 800). This is what you're currently experiencing.
