  • 6GB Shared Dual Channel DDR3 at 1333MHz vs. 6GB DDR3 at 1066MHz

    Hello all,

I am just starting to get to know a little about computers and need some advice from the more experienced computer people out there. I am in the process of buying ram for my computer and don't really know what the heck the difference is between the two types above or which is better I should say. Can anyone explain (in simple terms please..I just won't understand any real fancy answer..but I am trying to learn!),

    Thanks!

One is faster, that is all.

The 1333Mhz is faster, they are both triple channel kits (Not dual/shared) if they are 6GB, and are meant for 1156 or 1366 motherboards.

If you do not have one of those boards you are better off looking at other memory. If you are not sure what memory you need let us know your motherboard and we can help show you what type you want.
