problem get ocz 1200mhz ocz reaper to work at 1066 on motherboard

Heys guys just bought (4X1gb) ocz reaper 9600, 1200mhz!
I have been able to get it to boot into vista at 800mhz!
But once i try 1066mhz theres no chance. i've tried its spd ratings, i've tried it at dram voltage of 2.1m but no luck! I have a gigabyte ep45-ds3r motherbord! Can anyone help me going crazy?
