im with telstra broadband @ 512/128 with a 3gb monthly limit, i pay $94.95 abouts...

paying $70 a month for 256/64 unlimited isnt too bad (compared to telstra), the speed is a bit shabby...

Datafast down here offer 512/128 with 8gb (50% offpeak, 50% onpeak) downloads per month @ $75 a month.

its not too bad, but not the best.

oh yea, quick question. Is d-loading legit demos for games considered "warez" or is it ok.

Downloading demos isn't illegal so just get out there and max out ya line.. ;)

ISP I though UK had high prices but it turns out we have cheap prices even when not everyone in UK can access BB.

Timewarp is a good adsl provider for UK, I said above I am on 512/256 I max out on my d/l every time. Even d/l some stuff from the land of Aus down under and clocked about 35-45kb. Using Imesh I can d/l a 4mb mp3 very very quickley.

I'm still in search for a reasonable ADSL plan.
So far I've narrowed it down to two ISP and plans.
                        Option 1:
512/128 ADSL with unlimited download for $99

                        Option 2:
                        512/128 ADSL with 6GB download for $69.95

At the moment I think 6GB will be more then enough for me.
One more thing, how do ISP's charge upload? Is it part of download?

                          I have the 6GB 512k ADSL plan from netspace...i usually d/l @ about 53-55k per second...I also get 30-40 ping to most local game servers(OGN, Ozforces,Optus, Gamearena)..which is far better than i expected.Most ppl i know with 512k ADSL get 60-70 ping.

One question: just curious, does anyone know if netspace get there bandwidth from Telstra, Optus or Commindico?
