Maybe a powerline problem (Mexico City). A good UPS might fix that. Sags might be dropping the router out.

I don't think it is the nic as you say you've tried 4 already. What changes occur in the status lights of your router and modem when it disconnects?

I have a system here doing the same thing. If you leave it sit, its fine, as soon as you try to access the network, it drops the connection.

I have tried another drop, and we have replaced the NIC card in the unit (which was on the motherboard, so that totally new) and have tried another cable.

I have seen this problem posted several places, but not one suggestion on how to fix it yet.

                  If anyone can help, thanks!
