  • Windows Share Point Services Issue

I have been running Windows Share Point Services for awhile now and it functions as it should but with one exception. It keeps throwing the following error:
Source: Windows Sharepoint services 3 search
    Category: Content index server
    Event ID: 4127
Description: Content index on Search could not be initialized. Error The content index is corrupt. 0xc0041800.Component: eaed08d5-e9fd-4824-b332-a9c22ebb1fc7
How do I go about fixing this or is this an inheirant error that I should just ignore?
Thanks for any help you provide with this!

I don't use that program, but I suspect you could easily delete that index file and it would be recreated and not be corrupt.

Google or ask others that use it where that index file is located and then delete it or rename it to a .bak extension, with the program closed and then open it again and it should be rebuilt.

Other than that a full uninstall and reinstall should fix it, if you do this be sure to go into programs folder after you uninstall and delete the folder if it's still there before you install again.
