  • Internet splitting question?

    I have an ethernet cable coming into a room and need to split it into two devices. What type of splitter do you recommend as being the best?

    What are the two devices? Computers? Printers?

    What type of connection do you have? Cable? DSL? Fibre Optics? Dial up?

      u can either buy a router or a 5-8port switch. plug the ethernet cable leading into ur room into the switch then plug more lancables to the switch for every device u r running off it.

        I always recommend a router/switch. Don't bother with a hub, even if you just need connectivity to a printer.
