Verizon DSL Service

Hello,

i have been having a problem with verizon dsl, i have a 3 meg package, between the hours of approx 4pm-12 am, i get speeds around 100kbits/sec or less, after 12 am i can get 2-3 meg/sec. I have been trying to resolve this issue with verizon for about a month, me calling them every night and trying to get it resolved, i do not know what else to do besides cancel my account and go elsewhere. they obviously don't have a clue as to what they are doing. Does anyone have any ideas about what may be causing the slow speeds and what i may have to do to fix it.

Sounds like alot of internet traffic in your area slowing down the lines. Could be the phone lines in your house are in poor shape as well. I used to live in Massachusetts and had Verizon and never had really reliable service from them. The only problem is that there are not really any other providers to choose from, and they will still be using hte same wires/switchboxes for your internet.
