how do i turn on WEP

i have a wireless netowrk..but wep is not on ...how do i enable it?

You'll have to go to your router's startup page (assuming you're using one). For a Linksys router, for example, it should be 192.168.1.1. If you're using a different kind of router, go to the manufacturer's web site and search around until you find out what you need to do. It should be fairly simple if you do that.
