downloading slow why?

I just got highspeed and when I go and download music and stuff it goes so slow like 13kb a sec I know when I had dial up it went faster and I know with cable it moves 90-100kb a sec sometimes faster I called them up and they said everything is fine how can I get faster speed?

It's not only your connection that matters, it's also the speed of the connection for the server you are downloading from. If it's a server under heavy load or if it's just lacking the bandwidth it needs to let you maximize your download speed then well you get this result.. :)
