  • Sharing Games?

Is there a way to set it up so I can install a game on my computer and have it so someone else can access it from another computer on the same network?

try using the windows file sharing, and giving them full access to the folder.

That usually won't work because the game needs to be actually installed on the machine its running on. You can try though....

... though you probably shouldn't unless you like breaking the law.

How would that be breaking the law? I own the game, it's just that the cd-rom on the other computer broke and I haven't had the chance to get a new one.

Read the EULA (End User License Agreement). You'll likely find it states in there the factoid you can use the program on one system only. Even if you're using it in a legitimate manner by yourself, it is in essance a violation of copywrite laws.
