I have been using 2 USB wireless Nic`s in adhac mode for a couple of years without too many problems running on XPpro.
I have recently upgraded to DSL and bought a Netgeat DG824M wireless router/access point combo and now only use 1 Nic in i mode.
Every couple of days the Nic seems to stop responding, the device manager tells me that the device is working normally and ipconfig tells me that the IP is still set and the lease hasnt expired.
If I try to release & restore Im told that the device is no longer present.
Only if I re-boot the PC does the nic start to run again.
Any ideas ?
