TightVNC & Win2k Server

I'm currently using TightVNC to log into a Win2k server remotely...I'm able to log into the machine...but all i get is a black screen...I'm able to see the mouse pointer....though.

TightVNC is working great on all our Win2K Pro machines....

I had that once or twice happen to me with win2K servers. one time updating the video card drivers & direct x fixed it. the other time i had to remove windows terminal services from the server..
