My netgear router/firewall has reported a security alert that it has picked up, can anyone tell me what IP SPOOFING is and if I need to do something to stop it?

basically it's identity thief on the internet. Someone has got your IP and say it's you when really it's not.
How to stop it. Copy all the info you can get from the emails and stuff and send it to your ISP. Explain what has happened and hopefully they will track the bad guys down.

And most likey if your router picked it up it also blocked it, which is what your router is for. Just make sure you are patching your security software if you have any and windows.Comment
