OK, I've picked up a Belkin wireless router; access point, wireless PCMCIA card for notebook and 2 wireless network cards for desktops.
I am trying to set up a network that does not have internet access at this time.
I am unable to get any of the 3 computers (laptop running XP Home, other 2 running W98) to recognize the access point using the WAP manager. Each computer sees either the WAP or the router when I do a "site survey," all of them getting a strong (70% plus or better) signal.
What am I doing wrong? I've read the damned instructions until I turned blue... and I can't see where I'm screwing this up.
Help!
