printing in grayscale

I have a new Lexmark 730 printer. I would like to set it to print in grayscale. Is this possible? I can't find the solution in my user guide. Perhaps the only way I can do this is to buy a black ink cartridge.

You might try looking at the printer properties. You can generally set it up to print black/white only. Otherwise, you might try checking out the Lexmark website for updated drivers that also include a utility pack that offers advanced features for the printer.

My slightly older Lexmark had to have a black cartridge installed before the drivers allowed access to greyscale printing.
