USB Hub Issue/Question

I can not run my mouse through my 4 port powered hub and play games. If I attempt to do so the mouse is very jumpy. It is a Stratitec USB24 hub. I've had this problem since I've had the hub so I've just plugged the keyboard and mouse directly into the computer. My problem now is I have a new desk and my keyboard cord won't reach the computer and I only have one USB extension cable so I want to use that to plug the hub in and plug in all of my USB stuff to the hub.

Anyone else have problems running a mouse through a hub playing games or do I just have a bad hub?

Any ideas? I've tried the hub on multiple computers and each has the same result. Before I invest in a new hub I'd just like to know if others are able to run a keyboard/mouse through a hub without issue.

Sorry but I don't use USB mice or k/b's or even needed to use a USB hub. :shrug:
