    Old HD6950 to HD6970

    So I've got my hands on a HD6950 from Sapphire 2GB GDDR5.
    This one:

    Does anyone have experience in unlocking the shaders on this one? This Type doesnt have any dual bios. So i was wondering if it still works?

    I'm familiar with the HD 6950 bios thread that allows some 6950's to run using the 6970's bios where the 6950 performance is improved.

    The only option that your single bios video card has is to modify your bios to unlock the shaders for a more modest performance increase. Naturally you can still overclock your video card but it's performance will still be somewhat less than the 6970's overclocked performance.
