ASRock Z77 Extreme4 (ALC898) + Cosair SP2500 + Asus Xonar DX?
Hi all,
Hope to get some feedback on how I can improve the sound on my current setup. My mobo is ASRock's Z77 Ex4 and I have my SP2500 for some time and was wondering if it was worth while to purchase an Asus Xonar DX in attempts of getting better audio. My usage is more gaming and movies, music is very minimal. I've went through reviews, forums etc. and read that some folks definitely hear the difference while others are saying that they will be shocked if they could hear any difference.
Would I be better off getting a dedicated sound card like the Xonar DX? Or there won't be much of a difference to justify the purchase of a dedicated sound card.
