Re: Screen flicker after RAM upgrade on desktop
Set MCH Core to 1.2-1.24 for 4GB of ram, also set your memory voltage to spec amount if it is more than 1.9V
Put all "ref" voltages in Auto
And for 8GB of memory you will need tRFC of 72-84 or more at least

I have tried to use 72-86 on tRFC and the MCH core at 1.24v but it did not change anything, I then tired the memory at 666MHz but that did not make any different either.
I have put my old memory pack in. I will properly return the memory on Monday and stick whit my old ones.
Thanks for taking your time and help me.Last edited by Jukke; 05-22-2010, 02:55 PM.

Re: Screen flicker after RAM upgrade on desktop
K, was just making sure you had those on auto.
And sorry I advised for 4GB, but mentioned 8GB? You may need 1.28-1.32 MCH for 8GB and 82-96 tRFC
So try that before you return them, just in case.
If that does not work, it may be faulty memory or just not compatible not sure?
