    Re: enabling hybrid crossfire x

Yes here is a good site that explains hybrid an crossfirex-----> ATI CrossFireX? | GAME.AMD.COM
A hybrid crossfirex uses the onboard video and a second Radeon hd3400 series(3450 or 3470). The Hybrid crossfireX will not work with a Radeon HD 4890 You would need 2 4800 series cards and CrossfireX them. Not the hybrid CrossfireX feature. That paddle card or jumper would need to be removed and another 4870 or 90 would need to be installed. If you are using the paddle card It should be in the upper pcie slot just below the Northbridge chipset Your single Radeon HD4890 should be in the lower slot for x16 pcie. You can confirm this with a GPUZ utility. Download it here-----> http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/SysInfo/GPU-Z/ GPUZ utility is a downloadable quick little utility that will post your graphics cards information and confirm if your card is running at 8X or @16x Use the 4890 it has memory bus speeds that are running at least 4X faster than your onboard graphics. Your Bios settings are all in the manual you can find here---> BIOSTAR
Click on the Biostar link then the manual tab there are 2 manuals for your motherboard. The second smaller one would be your bios manual.
