Digtal Camera Recommendation?

What do you guys recommend for a Digital Camera to take pics?..Oh and umm what do you think Mavica or Memory STicks?

I've been looking at cameras myself... and although Darth really seems to hate Kodak's customer support, I've been looking at the Kodak DX3700...

The Kodak range isn't toooooo bad. I just wouldn't recommend anything less that the DC4800....

I got their DSC-P20 1.3 MegaPixel camera. It's very nice, but I think it's being discontinued. I got mine for $150 USD. I need to buy Sony's lithium Ion battery pack for it though---digicams eat alkaline batteries!!:thumbs do

A Friend of mine is a graphics designer. He spend some time looking for a good camera and he chose:

Nikon Coolpix 5000

He red a lot of reviews on the net, and this one came out as the best.
