Hi,
It's been a while since I wrote in. I bought an External Creative Extigy Sound Blaster Card a couple months ago and installed it. Since the installation I had moved and I just got around to putting my computer back together. I bought brand new speakers (5.1) and plugged it in. When I turned the soundcard on, I got nothing. I can hear a real faint noise, if I turn the speakers up all the way. I went into the 'CONTROL PANEL' and 'SOUNDS' and set the speaker volume. But when I clicked on 'APPLY', the bar indicators went from high (my setting) to low (computer's setting). I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I did everything I can think of. Can someone please help me?
