monitor troubles

My Hardware:
p4 prescott 2.6ghz
DFI 865PE Infinity motherboard
ASUS ATI 9600xt 128mb
512mb samsung 2700 memory
19" Relisys Monitor
Seagate Baracuda 80gb hdd
LG dvd +_ writer
Asaka Acrylic case and psu

I am currently experiencing the same problem but its not just when games are run although occurs more whilst running games but it also stops repsonding when just browsing the web or something. I've looked for any shorts and the pc is brand new. I am running windows xp pro and all games are glitchy and don't run on my system, for very long before crashing the entire pc.

Could someone help me plz

It's quite possible you haven't installed drivers right. Uninstall any videoc ard drivers you have now and then reinstall the latests Catalysts. I'd suggest you go to www.tweakguides.com and read the ATI Catalyst Installation Guide.

It's also possible that you didn't install other drivers properly. After installing Windows, you should have installed you chipset drivers followed by DirectX and Catalysts.

thanx but i just found that one post wasnt screwed in and it was causing the board not to be grounded correctly this also effected my audio chip but now the problem is solved :) thanx
