I'm probably biased but my TT Toughpower 850W is quiet, I can't hear it at all.

No offense, but I would not go Thermaltake for a PSU. Silverstone makes some killer quiet PSU's and Antec has redeemed themselves with the new Quattro series PSU's. Stick to the 80+ certified units as well because most others are overrated and tested at much lower temps than they operate at in our homes.GIgabyte GA-990FXA-UD3
