Lcd Issue

i have a gateway 3018 gz i bought a new screen everthing worked fine i by accident pluged in the wrong power suply the power supplys voltage rating was the same but the current was diffrent on the laptop the current specifies 3.42a and the power supply specifies 3.95 A did i blow the screen or inverter if so let me know what i have to buy to get this fixed any help is appreceated

Try the monitor on another computer system. If it doesn't work, then I can only hope that it is still under warranty so you can RMA it.

the unit still works when i power it on it works you can see an image on the screen but its very faint

i dont want to patronise you but have you checked the monitors settings or contrast, brightness etc
