acer aspire 3000 cmos reset

Ok, the customer was soft ocing his acer 3000 notebook despite my advice not to for obvious reasons and it needs it's cmos reset. How do I go about finding a cmos jumper or battery to remove? Anybody know where to get a service manual for it?
I did take it as apart as I could to look for a jumper or cmos battery but there is definately nothing on the side of the mobo that the cpu is on so I put it back together.

Update...

Ok found the battery, it is by the ram but still requires a screwdriver. Took it out for a few minutes and the cmos is reset now.

did this reset the bios password

That was so long ago that I barely remember working on that machine but I would assume that the password would be gone as well.

Yes, if you clear the CMOS the password for the BIOS will be cleared as well
