    Removing excess drives?(CF-MS-SD-SM/XD Cards)?
I have all these drives that I will never use.
I bought this Medion 5200 composer and it has a bunch of these drives.
Is there a process I will need to unhook these?
I want to disconnect them to get rid of the cable mess and help my compter stay cool and boot faster,everything....just get rid of the extra mess in otherwords.
Also I have a sound card...creative 5,1 and this computer came with onboard sound which I also want to destroy I mean relocate the onboard sound.....lol
Anyway...Am I stupid for wanting this and is this a good idea considering I want help my comp breathe better and weigh less and you know just tweak it?

I just put a maxtor SATA in there and as you know its hot running by itself.I have a old case fan on the HDs to help cool them but cleaning house is on my mind and I want to get rid of the junk.

    Thanks guys.

Be very careful removing drives. Your best bet is to go to the manufactureres web site and see if they have instructions on doing that. I doubt you can hurt anything, just do it one peice at a time and then reboot to see what happens. Make sure you know how to get into Windows safemode in case something goes wrong.
