Used Presario HELP!

I am trying to buy a Compaq Presario 17xL2 from a friend, but I would like to know how much it is worth now. I checked Orion bluebooks but even they don't know how much it is. I really wanna buy it but I don't wanna offer my friend too little or too much money. Like I said it is a 17xL2, 12.1 SVGA TFT, 12GB UDMA, 64 SDRAM, PIII 600MHZ, with a floppy. If any of you can help me it would be greatly appreciated :cheers:
