im ping is always high in cs around 400-700!change someone plz tell me how to lower it

what kind of connection do you have?

Are you playing on local servers? What is your data rate set at? Do you have anything else running in the backgroud? Have you tried a fresh install of CS? Do you check server pings before you play? What happens if you ping the server outside of the game?
