Recent news shows that all three companies have began work on their latest consoles.
Micrososft has recently released its first X-Box 2 development kit and have recently bought out Nintendo's best gameing developer RARE. Also it has been suggested that it will be very similar to a P.C. and will have a pentium 4 processor and will use a modified Ge force 5 graphics card!!!
Next we have the Playstation 3. Not much news had been released except that the new "cell" chip processor (emotion engine 2) is being developed by IBM and will be capable of a Trillian calculations per second!!! Also Sony are aiming to release the playstation 3 by 2005.
And finally we have the gamecube 2. The only news on this machine is that it is being developed!!
