  • In Need Of The Sims Game Help

    Ok, my sims i bought the double deluxe and installed it and it crashed after loading everything i try to click on a house and it does that. Should i get the new patch or what what will fix it please help me out here...

    I'm not familiar with that problem with the Sims. If there is an official patch for the game then use it! Could also be that the game was corrupted on install and it may be worth trying to uninstall and reinstall it. It is always best to defrag your system before installing games or applications and turn off as many running programs as it is safe to do so during installation.

        Yes, try patching the game and updating to the latest drivers.

        If any of your other games are crashing (assuming you have no hardware conlicts listed in Windows), try disabling a few things in your Cmos settings related to video to see if that helps. If you have a setting called DBI Output for AGP Trans disable it.

        If your using a NOCD fix then reinstall the game and try it without it.

          Sorry, not trying to be mean....just stating my oppinion after having played the original:shrug: I just don't see the connection with reality or anything remotely intellectually stimulating.:blah:

            I know alot of people that loved the Sims game. It's still probably still one of the favorites among softcore gamers. I personally don't care for the Sims myself, but I recently tried a game called Space coloney (Which has alot in common with the Sims) and thought it was quite challenging and I'm actually tempted to play it more, I think a real Sims fan would love it.
