My gal has a near 0 interest in the PC, just as an example. Truth is I'd very much enjoy it if she were to sit here beside me from time to time and enjoy this comtraption as much as I do.

But, I've learned to settle for her just allowing me to be in front of the monitor as much as she does.

I'm shocking with consoles, I have to stand up coz I'm very animated. But my fave games would be car racing ones or demolition derby ones. Just plain old fun.
If the gf in question here (original post up top) isn't a huge fan of games, probably one of those cute Mario Kart or whatever games.
If she has a twisted streak in her, try something a little more violent/hardcore (but not like Resident Evil hardcore... baby steps people) games out there.
Just don't get all competitive on her arse. Let her win a couple OK. It's all about fun.

As to what console to buy... frigged if I know. I'm more your PC gamer.

I recently got a trial version of The Sims Online.....that game is played predominantly by women. If you're a guy, don't play this game if you hate being constantly hit on by women or being offered money to live with them!
