We are kicking ass!!! Too bad Cheez isnt putting all his crunchers onto BOINC, cant wait for SETI (classic???) to be over, so we can get the rest of the farmers onto the team.

I have more than zero, they just haven't shown up yet (I can see this when logging into my account). But it's really wierd that my sig file is screwed up.:confused:

Don't worry all TT Team members in the SETI Classic will be automatically converted to the new TT BOINC Team when the time comes. For better or worse. Although Wiggo has said he'll start a new team, which is a good idea. That way we can sluff off some of the old laggards. :D

Well I have to see how far ahead of you I can get in Classic. I have my fastest on Boinc right now, I am thinking about converting another one over to Boinc now, my XP2600, one main reason I am hesitant about switching them over is, I don't like the lack of flexibility in Boinc, I prefered being able to set each computer at Idle, Low, Med or High. and with this you just cant do that yet, I hope that someone writes a setiQueue type program for this, I see that they have some in the program its self, but I dont like the fact that it downloads when it is done with the Cache of WU's, I want it to download when I set it to, not when it wants to! Just because this computer is Idle doesn't mean that others on the Network are, and with a slow ass connection like mine I cant afford the drastic slow down as it pulls more WU's, and now I am stepping off of my soap box!

Well it would've been but back then SETI stated that everyone would start fresh again but now with, "All current SETI@home teams, and their membership, will be copied over to SETI@home/BOINC.", I can't see the point in startin' a new team and then have to catch up with the ourselves again.

What will happen to my workunit totals?

Because of this change, SETI@home/BOINC accounts will have separate old and new work totals. The old total is the workunit total from the current SETI@home. It won't change, and a section of our web site will show the final leaderboards based on old work totals. [b]New work unit totals will start from zero.

The TT BOINC team will have a lot of members with zero points. Many more than the seven we have now. Of course, our team will not be unique.

well, i still havent found a place that says BOINC BETA will be reset once "official" BOINC is released. When I switched to BOINC, I did start from zero. Only time will tell I guess :shrug:

I would like to announce the BOINC Alpha Test project, the purpose behind the Alpha project is to provide a better level of quality assurance by running the software on a few more machines than we have access to in our lab for the BOINC software. You can check out how we are doing by visting:
