I forget to uncheck mine in some of the forums where they aren't appropriate. I find them useful in many forums to get an idea with whom you are dealing.

But it's the two word posts containing a complete poem in the signature that annoy me...

Try page down - program one of your mouse buttons for it. Saves the middle finger for more important things such as one finger salutes.

Peter! I never use the scroll wheel for scrolling down the page, I use it as a button, and so when I 'click the wheel down' it goes into MS's brilliant scroll mode, and then an ever so slight movement of my mouse and i can modulate how fast I scroll down the page.

This doesn't work well without a fairly powerful vid card though, because it required the page to be re-drawn ever pixel it is moved down.

Dude, that make me dizzy when I do that. This could be useful to scroll away from items you don't want others to see.

Be more careful with your mouse! You can get it to scroll as slow or as fast as you want ! I use it CONSTANTLY.

O.k. there's problably a hundred ways to scroll.

But I am not trying to solve the problem. I am trying to avoid it.
