  • who does this ****?

A few weeks ago, I heard a crash outside at 3 a.m. So I looked out the window. What I saw was shocking. 3 young adults were trashing the busbench out front of the house. They were also trashing my 6 year old son's cat (Timmothy). By the time I got out there, the thugs were gone and the cat ran away.
The next morning when the cat came home, he was limping. And later that night he stopped walking. The next morning I took him to the vet.
Vet's are very expensive here. But the fine folks at the Centennial Animal Hospital fixed him and he will live. The boy is so happy his cat has a chance to live. Its a hefty bill ($350+) for his treatment (live or dead), more than half paid already, they said reasonable payments can be made on the rest. Which is good since I don't have any money left now. He is suffering from a broken tail, and not just broken, I mean almost torn off where it attaches, a large chip on his pelvis bone, another fracture that the vet pointed out that I couldn't see on the x-rays, and a badly bruised belly (like purple by this point) and a catheter for peeing. What kind of monster does these crimes? I'm a rather large man at 270 lb, I'd like to see one of these idiots try that on me, yea right.
Now I'm informed that he can't pee on his own and has to be squeezed like a bagpipe daily.

        Thoughtless idiots do that ****:steam:

It looks like a young cat so it's built-in resiliency combined with the good care you are providing will likely have it up n' running soon.

Sorry to hear about this senseless episode. Seems to be a huge amount of rage in some of the youth everywhere - not that this is a new phenomenon, I suppose :(

I can only hope the kitty is a bit more wary of those who come calling in the wee hours from this time forth.

The coppers "Winnipeg's finest: party ha " don't care at all and told me to stop wasting their time. And his tail is permanantly paralized.

I do not recommend bugging the Cops too much, but remember the Summer is young and, if these idle hands are doing such things now, just think what they may be up to by the end of the Summer. Let's hope they limit their abuse to bus stops and cats. Things could get worse and the Police will be looking for them in ernest, if these loosers seek more challenging "entertainment."

Consider the $350 well spent, as I do the $1500 hip surgery, spent on one of our cats after being hit by a car.

                      I agree.
When the law enforcement community can't be bothered, it's time for the citizens to take an active role in law enforcement.

Vigilantees don't exist where a proffessional police force does.

Seems like they put the ball in your court.
