Summer Job Suggestions

hey peeps i was wondering if you could suggest any good ideas for summer jobs i could do? Im currently studying computer science at Lancaster Uni in the UK and anything related with computers would be even better. I am prepared to travel depending on the situation for example there was a placement to do games testing in calafornia which had free accomodation and $15 a day which i am very tempted to do depending on application and parents :rolleyes: but i dunno any advice?

I know most peeps will be from austrialia but still if you know of any suggestions or placements please let me know!! Cheers Guys and Gals! :cheers:

HAH HAH HAH, but 15 dollars a day, how long would you be working? I'm trying to get a summer job (its harder when your young) and I can get something 6 an hour which is more than 15...but then you fully accomodated so

Yeah but its mucho good for getting money and i think the only way you can't have a job and still get money is to have rich parents or be a drug dealer - none of which i have or desire to be!! So alas its gonna be a hard summer of working to pay student fees :(

Steve - try Shell in Wythenshawe, Manchester - say you want to work as a summer student with the option of maybe taking it further when you graduate. Wythenshawe is where they have their main European IT headquarters.
