k6-2s are not the best overclockers in the world (.25 micron process?) and you can probably overclock a slower one, but a 550 is at the end of the range. Sell it, and get yourself a Tbird 1000 AXIA or AHYJA (I think) - they will often overclock to about 1200MHz+

I have heard that Epox boards (especially the 8KHA+) are excellent overclockers. From personal experience, Jetway motherboards are pathetic for overclocking. I have a KT133 based board - minimal VCore alterations and a max FSB of 110MHz are the only options avaiable. Not multiplier adjustment, no RAM...

Try looking in 'Add/Remove Programs' in the control panel. When upgrading 95 -98se once, I had the option to delete the win95 backup.
Just a quick note: upgrades aren't worth it - clean installs are the way to go.

Personally I donth think you will get far overclocking a P166 - but you can try :)
Have a look for the mobo/pc manufacturers website - you will need the jumper setting.
A P166 will be at 2.5 x 66, your options are to increase the bus speed or the multiplier.
The bus speed options...

I dont think that that small difference in versions is enough to be the problem. If the driver was for a 2.2.x kernel and you had a 2.4.x kernel then there may be forseeable problems....

Hi, I am doing a school project on HTTP - specifically what it is and a basic overview of the steps involved in requesting and recieveing a page. Does anyone know of any links to relevant sites on this topic?
Thanks,
David
