    Re: Gigabyte Latest BIOS

Hey lsdmeasap, I made a few changes to voltages but so far the stability in games isn't really there. I can do p95 and IBT all day long stable but keep getting random game crashes which will slow down any other games by 2/3 until I reboot after the crash. I have...

Uncore is already set to twice ram speed manually. Memory 1.66v is the only thing I set manually for my ram, the rest is part of the profile but if the ram isn't overclocked then I shouldn't have to set any voltages away from stock I wouldn't think.

    Re: Gigabyte Latest BIOS

There was no code that I could find in the event viewer log for my BSOD and I was looking for it. The ram was running at 1600 at 1.66V but other settings were from XMP profile. Like I said though, it passed 10 iterations of IBT under maximum settings previous...

    Re: Gigabyte Latest BIOS

I got some crazy instability out of the blue the day after I updated to F9C as well. I was running solid at 4ghz on F8 and solid on F9C for 36 hours and then out of the blue I started freezing in the OS and blue screening. The BSOD's gave no indication of the...

lsd: I can confirm that F9c fixes the S3 resume problem for me at blk 200. CPUz DOES report the ram at CAS4 though although I am not sure if that is a bug with the BIOS just saying that the ram is at cas4 or not. Benchmarking does not appear to be causing any...

Hey guys I saw the answer to this somewhere in this 173 page thread but can't find it now. I am going to try F9C tonight and need to know the process to roll back to F8 if F9C doesn't work for me. I take it that the onboard bios flash utility won't allow a downgrade...

That leads me to my next thought: Just WTF is it that GB is doing there? If anyone has an 'in' with these guys that write and test these BIOSs at GB can you please tell them to get their $h1t straight PLEASE. I help run a lab at my job where we test...

You say a new bios came out today to fix F9 usb issue? Will this be another beta bios or will they replace F9 on their site with a new F9 or an F10 that fixes the usb issue?

That's what I've read online and that's what I have experienced here but Lsdmeasap just said F8 S3 works ok for him. I'll probably update later this weekend.

Just for giggles I went back to stock settings. Still can't resume from S3 on F8. Also on Win7 X64 RC1. Maybe it's an OS issue then although I had no problems with my previous X48 gigabyte board. Shrug.
