Re: Console and PC - if only to choose

I still think PC Gaming is better. Granted, they have the arguement that you have to upgrade your graphics card every so often, but I see that as a plus. At least you can upgrade the graphics card. With a console game, within a few years you have...

Re: New User / Advice on New Gaming PC

My current system has an AMD 4200+ processor and I have 2 GB DDR2, and my graphics is a 9800GTS. I play Left 4 Dead at 1680 x 1050 with 4x AA and high settings with no problems. Not sure what my framerates are but it's smooth so it must be at least...

Re: i7 in UD5 VERY HOT! 100C! HELP!

First i7 I worked with kept getting hot and shutting the system off by the time you could log in. It turned out to be that the heatsink wasn't seated all the way down. After resetting it about 4 times, I finally pulled the motherboard bay out so I...

  • Re: Looking for a cheap gaming notebook

The one on Newegg has a faster processor and the video graphics has more dedicated memory. It's priced at about $1,099 on Newegg. It comes with a 3 year warranty.

The VAIO is priced at about £1,099.99 and has a 12 month warranty....

    Re: hp-ux Network questions

First thing you should do is on one of your windows machines that properly connects to the internet, open a command prompt and type "ipconfig /all". That should give you for that machine, it's IP address, it's subnet mask, it's gateway (your router),...

    Re: Computer Freezes help!

I would say try removing one of the video cards and see how it works. If it works fine with just one card, it could be maybe your power supply can't quite support both? I'm not sure what the requirements are for those. Have you checked in your device manager...

  • Re: Please help me on creating some flash items.

Your best bet for that is to use actionscript with it. You have to add an "onRollover" action and an "onRollout" action for mousing over and for your click you create an "onRelease" action which will tell it...

Try hitting the backspace key prior to typing in the first set of characters? If seen a database screw up like that before so you never know. Does the second block allow you to input 5 characters?

Re: Blue tooth in Win7 [Dell Laptop]

If this was your office system, you shouldn't have installed Win 7 on it, at least not until it's final release. Anyway, one thing you can try is search for Vista Drivers for you 1525's bluetooth. If you find any, and you don't have them on your Win...

    Re: hp-ux Network questions

    Sweet,

As long as you set your HPUX system's IP address, gateway, and point it to a DNS server for resolution you should be able to get out on it. after you think you have it configured, do some basic tests such as pinging your gateway or router....
