GA-EP35-ds3p won't cold boot
I haven't used this pc since I got hit by ransomeware a few years back. I cleaned all the drives and reinstalled Windows 7. I never had a cold boot problem before although I've read it is a problem with this board but after installing Windows, I can't get it to boot without going into BIOS and making...

Thanks! I found a download for the ICH9 SATA ACHI Controller and I already downloaded the Jmicron JMB36x controller from Gigabyte.

Which AHCI driver for GA-EP35-DS3P
I'm creating a slipstream disc for XP Pro and I don't know which driver to choose.

Re: Can't Overclock Anymore

Re: Can't Overclock Anymore
I took the battery out but this time I replaced it with a new one. We'll see how long it stays overclocked.

Re: Can't Overclock Anymore
Reflashed the BIOS and raised MCH to +.20 but no help. I always set Performance Enhance to Normal. I have a doctors appointment this morning. I'll take the battery out later today and see if that helps. There is no 2.66 setting for System Memory Multiplier....

Re: Can't Overclock Anymore
Now I can't uninstall the stupid POS.
EDIT: Went into safe mode and uninstalled it.
I guess the board is shot for overclocking.Last edited by DarrellS; 02-21-2011, 04:10 AM.
