Re: USB3 Issue X58A-UD7
I have just tested the drive on a USB3 connection at work and it doesn't go faster than 51000 on the read or write on the ATTO benchmark. I have a feeling it's the actual enclosure that might be the problem. It doesn't seem to be performing properly.

Re: USB3 Issue X58A-UD7
On this page...where would I find legacy USB settings (this is not a screenshot of my actual bios but a general screenshot of a UD7 bios)? View Image Motherboards.org

No option to enable legacy devices in BIOS and USB3 is enabled in bios.

USB3 Issue X58A-UD7
I have a weird issue with my USB3 ports.
I have an external 2.5" USB3 Enclosure/Drive. Every time I connect it to the PC in the USB3 ports, Windows 7 tells me that it recognises that this drive would run faster in a USB3 port (to which it is already connected).

hey stasio, KAKOSI :)
Long time no see.
Just wondering if you could do me a favour and find out how much it would be to get a new cpu area fitted to an X58-UD5.
I got some bent and missing pins on my X58-UD5 from when i took my CPU out to put a new one in.

Bf error on, failed overclock x58-ud5
Hey, get this "BF" error code on my motherboard when i try for 200BCLK on my board...does so even @ 190...barely does 185BCLK...
Just wondering if someone can give me a reason it is coming up?
BF error i know is floppy controller (but i have it disabled in bios)...

Re: Ga-ep45-extreme q9550 8gb reaper
Well if i am right, then the stability will be there...you can't have stability without providing enough voltages...
1.3475 is a low voltage for 4.03Ghz on a quad...
i would up that to about 1.36-1.37......

Re: Help please!!!
I've just been reading through my manual on error codes...and BF seems to be related to the "Floppy Controller".
But why would it be related to that when i disabled the floppy drive and anything floppy drive related in bios...

Re: i7 920 UD5 Overclock
Yes, there is pretty logical reasoning...
You will have to provide a lot more northbridge voltage for the system to be stable. This is due to occupying all the ram slots and therefore the ram requiring more voltages from the board....
