Re: Z68 Pro3-M and XFast USB issue
The copy of .tib format works properly in Normal mode, but not in Turbo mode.

Re: Z68 Pro3-M issue with SSD
After 4 days of research, I have finally found a solution.
One should enter the BIOS, then Advanced, then Storage Configuration. Click onto SATA3-0: Corsair SSD and Enable Staggered Spin-Up; then click onto SATA3-1: WD HDD and Disable Staggered Spin-Up....

Z68 Pro3-M and XFast USB issue
XFast USB goes into wait state when copying Acronis True Image backups (.tib format).
This is another issue (and quality control) with the Z68 Pro3-M mobo.
Has anybody encountered such a problem with XFast USB?Last edited by jr39; 06-27-2011, 12:15 AM.

Z68 Pro3-M issue with SSD
The BIOS never keeps the Boot sequence if I connect a SSD (Corsair F60 or OCZ Vertex2 60GB) to the SATA3-0 connector and a WDC WD10EALX (1 TB) to the SATA3-1 connector. I always have to manually enter the Boot drive via the F11 key. I never encountered this problem with an Asus P8H67-M PRO mobo....Last edited by jr39; 06-27-2011, 12:12 AM.

Re: GA-EP45-UD3R and Acronis True Image
I have a bootable CD and I can recover by using the CD. No problem but it is strange not to be able to recover from Windows. When Linux takes over and boots, then comes the Kernel panic message. And the system gets stuck.
I am in contact...

GA-EP45-UD3R and Acronis True Image
I have been using Acronis TI for the last 5 years with great satisfaction. I have used it with the EP45-UD3R in all modes (IDE, AHCI and RAID). I have one problem and Acronis seems to be stuck. I cannot recover an image in AHCI mode; in Windows mode (after the reboot), it leads to a Kernel panic status....

Re: GA-EP45-UD3R and RAID 0
I followed all suggestions and everything works fine. Concerning Intel Rapid Storage Technology (Version 9.6.0.1014), I installed it after Win 7 installation. And during Win 7 installation, I added no drivers and encountered no problems.
Many many thanks...

Re: GA-EP45-UD3R and RAID 0
I suspect I have solved the problem. I am reinstalling Win 7. I shall keep you posted.
In any case, many thanks for your help.

Re: GA-EP45-UD3R and RAID 0
This was the purpose of my message. I suspect I made a mistake but I do not know where. I shall try to find out. It should be somewhere in the BIOS.
