  • Re: GA-EP35C-DS3R / Q6600 / 2x4GB DDR3 1600 - cant oc

the manual for the GA-ep35c says the voltage for the 4 DDR2 slots is 1.8v. The Corsair memory says it likes 2.1v. So I ran the 2x2gb at +.3 to go from the supplied 1.8 to the requested 2.1. When I put in the second...

    GA-EP35C-DS3R / Q6600 / 2x4GB DDR3 1600 - cant oc

    Hi Guys,

I've had this system for 3 years.
    I used to have 4GB (2x2GB) of CORSAIR DOMINATOR 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) in my GA-EP35C-DS3R / Q6600.
I could overclock that, completely stable, to 3.6GHz.
I needed to go to 8GB, so I added 2 more of the CORSAIR...

Are you looking at multiple boot devices (floppy, cd, network, then hd)?

Turn em all off (if you are)

  • Re: Constant bluescreens on EP35C-DS3R with Vista

On page 10 (of my manual anyway) on the ga-ep35c-dsr3 it mentions the memory. For ddr3 there are 2 x 1.5v dimm sockets.

Check what you mem sticks need. It was a source of problems with my osz ddr3 til I bumped...

  • Re: Disable the Dynamic Energy Saver ??? how ???

Good questions. Yea, the bios will be forgotten, and you'll start again. I recently had a similar problem to yours, I tried setting my system to my standard overclocking (3.4ghz on a 2.4 q6600) settings. The bios settings said it was...

Try pulling the power cord and remove the battery for 2 minutes. See if that helps....

Thank you! That was the problem, the boot order got reversed.

I'll take a look at VistaBootPro.

Not sure why osl2000 would do that, but.......

    Thanks again

    ga-ep35c-ds3r multiboot multidisk problem

I have a multi boot system. Started with a 500gb drive with XP. Then loaded Vista. I then added a second 750gb drive and loaded XP64. Everything worked fine, with the system asking if I wanted Vista or legacy windows; if I selected legacy I could choose between XP or XP64.

    In preparation...
