Re: What's the lenght limit for a cat5 cable?
At my previous work I was using CAT5 over about 100mtrs and it was working fine - no dropouts and speed fine - this was just with regular Netgear switches at either end as well.

I would recommend Ubuntu - first installed a few months ago and 90% of the time it has been awesome. I am currently still trying it out and used Wubi Wubi - Ubuntu Installer for Windows to install it on my Vista machine to try it out. Has been great.

Thanks for that guys. Really I want a program that will let me monitor how long and how much people upload/download from the server. (its a little scam to try and make some extra cash)
