I had the 128MB version and got it to 290/540. Both cards use 4ns RAM, but the 64MB overclock a lot higher.

I've had the pleasure of using both. I would go with the Alpha. It kept my cpu cooler than the MCXC370.

Just installed it yesterday. Great game! I'm playin it on easy and I'm still getting my butt whooped. :D
Graphics are very nice and smooth. Can play at High Quality 1152x864 smooth as silk on my overclocked GeForce2 GTS.

Depends. Cool Bits doesn't work with all Nvidia Detonator drivers. However, you can use programs like Power Strip (which is great by the way) and NV Max, which will run on all drivers that I know of, and include a lof of other tweaking options.
But if you just want straight and easy...
