I recently bought a Foxconn motherboard with the SiS chipset, I have 1gb DDR 400 ram installed.
But the CL level is 3.0 on these rams of chips but the bios detects them at 2.5, It will allow me to overclock but I am not sure what settings I should use for timing.

I went out today and got a different heatsink CPU
Vantec Airflow, guy at the shop said it would work with 3ghz processors.
so far its idle at 44c, havent' stressed it.
as for a pic of the case, no digital camera. But i have 2 80mm fans in the front sucking...

Only a few degrees cooler and its clean, i just moved it to another case.
Room temperature can get warm, around 75-80f in here.

Problem with overheating p4 3.0/800fsb
I recently started having overheating issues with my computer. Its a pentium 4 3.0ghz 800FSB chip with stock HSF, lately it idles at 43c but at max usage it can go as high as 67c.
are these temps normal for this computer? I have to 80mm fans sucking air in the front but these damn cases...

Question about memory CL
Okay here's the deal PC Club shipped me the wrong ram CL but they said it would work.
Right now I have 2x512 Kingston DDR CL3's in my system and they shipped me 2 more 2x512 Generic DDR CL2.5's they said it would work but I've noticed some high memory eating applications seem to crash...

Use the EasyTune4 software from Gigabyte, i used to once to test overclock my p4 3.0 to 3.2 works fine and still stays at 43c around idle and 55c at full throttle.
